Activist investor CIAM drops opposition to Ahold poison pill

Reuters reports that CIAM has dropped plans to take legal action against Ahold Delhaize to force the company to allow shareholders to vote on the extension of a takeover defence measure as CIAM is pleased with the compromise put forward by the company.
