"The French establishment has secreted an activist fund, a phenomenon so rare that Harvard recently devoted a study to it. Created in 2010, Charity Investment Asset Management (CIAM) has been run for a decade by Anne-Sophie d'Andlau and Catherine Berjal. They donate part of their performance to charity and have a very preppy look. For the rest, they are tough. They celebrate the "defeat" of Suez over the acquisition of Veolia: "They were cornered, we were ready to pull out our guns to dismiss the board of directors...."
