Ciam's activist event-driven fund rose about 12 percent in the first two months of the year after gaining 10 percent in February, according to a person familiar with the matter. Chief Investment Officer Catherine Berjal manages the fund. Matthew Goodman, an external spokesman for the French asset manager, declined to comment.
