The French insurance regulator wants to put order in the governance of the sector. In a press release published on Wednesday, the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) recommends that insurers separate the functions of chairman of the board of directors and chief executive. Especially if they are large and complex. A message that sounds like a call to order for Covéa or SCOR.
